Meet Joe Siegfried, RDH
Joe Siegfried, RDH
Joe has spent more than a decade practising myofunctional therapy with children and adults across Toronto — working with mouth breathing, tongue posture, swallowing patterns, snoring, oral habits, and teeth shifting after braces. You can see what a myofunctional therapy assessment involves on our therapy page.
Every program starts with an in-person assessment, because this is hands-on work. From there, Joe explains what he’s seeing, what it means, and what the next step involves, so you have the full picture before deciding how to move forward.
10+ Years of Myofunctional Therapy
With more than 10 years in myofunctional therapy, Joe brings that same depth of experience into teaching. He speaks on myofunctional therapy at conferences in Canada and internationally, contributes to curriculum development for dental hygienists, and serves on the board of the Dental Hygiene Practitioners of Ontario.
That teaching background shapes how he explains findings and next steps to patients — plainly, and with time to ask questions.

The Space
Our clinic is a small, quiet space at Royal York & Bloor. It’s clean, uncluttered, and built around unhurried appointments, with room to ask questions and time to answer them properly.
Whether you’re here for a hygiene visit or a myofunctional therapy assessment, your appointment includes time to explain, demonstrate, and check in. We want you to ask questions and understand what we’re seeing and why it matters.
Space Highlights:
- Quiet clinic setting
- Time to ask questions
- Close to Royal York station
Collaborating Providers
We work alongside dentists, orthodontists, ENTs, physicians, sleep specialists, and other healthcare providers when patient care requires a broader team approach. Many myofunctional therapy patients reach us through those referrals, and we keep the referring provider informed along the way.
Scope matters here. Our role in your care is myofunctional therapy — supporting tongue posture, breathing habits, swallowing patterns, and oral function. Diagnosis and treatment of medical or dental conditions stay with the appropriate provider.
Collaboration Notes:
- We support oral function and myofunctional therapy.
- Dentists, ENTs, and physicians handle diagnosis and medical treatment.
- We communicate clearly when another provider should review a concern.
- Our role is to guide the therapy side with practical support.
